The 11th Edition of the Hon. Kelechi Nwogu Unity Cup is set to commence on Sunday, 7th December 2025, with an exciting opening friendly match between the All Stars of Etche and the Ex-Professionals of Omuma. This symbolic fixture marks the beginning of a competition designed to promote unity, strengthen community bonds, and empower young people through sports.
This years tournament will be between Etche and Omuma LGAs and it will feature the presence of professional football scouts who will be on ground to identify exceptional talents for possible empowerment, training opportunities, and professional career development.

Victor Ikpeba, Former Nigerian international and African Footballer of the Year, Augustine Eguavoen, Renowned Nigerian football manager and ex-international, Hon. Sylvanus Nwankwo, Member, Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Obinna Anyanwu, Former Executive Chairman, Etche LGA, Rt. Hon. Nwaiwu Christian Chisom, Former Executive Chairman, Omuma LGA, Members of the Local Organising Committee (LOC)
